Wordless Wednesday: Weather Interactive Notebook Giveaway!

This is what my prep periods and after-school-work-time has been consumed with lately:
I've been planning, printing, cutting, and perfecting my Interactive Notebook foldables for our weather unit!
 QUESTION for I.N. users:
When you're planning a unit, do you build sample pages ahead of time or do you do it with your students as you go? I've done both ways, depending on the unit (and the prep ime I put into it!)

As promised, I'm going to do a GIVEAWAY of my new packet to one of my blog followers:
If you'd ike to WIN a FREE COPY of my Weather Interactive Notebook Foldables MEGA Packet, please leave a comment with your e-mail address and your favorite science topic to teach.
I'll choose TWO winners on Saturday night.

Hop on over to Miss DeCarbo's blog for other wordless (or almost wordless, like mine!) posts! :)

  1. What a terrific looking set of INB foldables! I would love to have a set to use with my science students. When I first introduce INBs to my kiddos I demonstrate how to cut, fold, and assemble them. As time progresses and they become INB experts I simply pass out the pages as morning or pre-class work and allow them to complete them independently. My fav topics to teach in science are matter/chemistry and taxonomy of living organisms. Thanks for the opportunity to win a set of these fun foldables.

  2. This would be fantastic for our weather unit! We are just starting IN this year, so I am mostly doing it with the students!! But then I will have a nice sample for the future.

  6. My favorite unit to teach is ecosystems. kmhteacher@yahoo.com

    1. I usually do the activity with them so that I can have one done if anyone is absent.

  7. Oh, your weather ISN foldables look great. I'd love to win this set! My favorite science subject to teach is, actually, weather ~ specifically hurricanes. In my part of the country hurricanes are definitely something to be knowledgeable about.

  8. This looks great! I love using INBs in all subjects. My favorite thing to teach in science is simple machines. judy.helton@gmail.com

  9. Your interactive notebook foldables look absolutely AMAZING! My favorite science topics to teach are environmental science (last year I had the whole school join my science class as we planted a tree in honor of Earth day, and we did some great experiments to learn about renewable energy such as making solar ovens to make s'mores), and I had blast teaching all about the body systems last year (we did a ton of hands on experiments that all the kiddos absolutely LOVED - sometimes they got kind of messy but they were FUN).

  10. We are doing a natural disaster unit right now...this would fit perfectly!!

  11. I like weather and natural resources (rocks more than anything)! melindacasas@gmail.com

  12. I like to teach the phases of the moon! Thanks for the giveaway :). amynick25@hotmail.com

  13. I love this idea! I have been using INBs since I first started teaching and it is amazing to see the new ideas still coming out. If you are still offering these packets, I'd love to get some new ideas; if not, I would love to get ideas from you.
